Robert H. Gebaide is a partner in the law firm of Spottswood, Spottswood, Spottswood & Sterling, P.L.L.C. and General Counsel to Spottswood Companies and One of One Holdings.    

Prior to joining the Spottswood law firm in May 2022, Rob practiced for over 20 years with the national law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP, where he was a partner and co-leader of the firm’s national Real Estate team.   

Rob has handled numerous transactions as lead counsel involving the acquisition, permitting, financing, development, and sale of commercial property across various asset classes, with an emphasis on  hospitality-related products. Rob’s representation of Spottswood Companies spanned almost the entirety of his career at Baker and his recent move to the Spottswood law firm and his positions within Spottswood Companies and One of One Holdings reflects a natural progression of these relationships.     

Rob graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and received his JD from the University of Florida College of Law.  Rob has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, received the 2021 CRE Connect Lawyers in Real Estate Award, and has been included in the 2022 Best Lawyers in America List in the areas of Real Estate and Leisure and Hospitality Law.
